FC Bayern starts its one-week marketing tour in Asia without 8 top players. The record champions will play test matches on the Jeju Island and in Hong Kong. The team arrived at the Munich Airport at 17.05 Uhr with two buses. Eight top players are not on board! Harry Kane, Michael Olise, Dayot Upamecano and new signing Ismael Saibari must not travel after their long World Cup participation. Also not on board are the injured professionals Jamal Musiala, Serge Gnabry, Lennart Karl and Bryan Zaragoza. They will continue their rehabilitation in Munich. Bayern star Alphonso Davies will stay at home and continue his rehabilitation in Munich.

The team will be led by coach Vincent Kompany. In addition to the German World Cup players Manuel Neuer, Jonas Urbig, Joshua Kimmich, Jonathan Tah, Aleksandar Pavlović, new signing Nathaniel Brown as well as South Korea star Minjae Kim, Bara Sapoko Ndiaye and Hiroki Ito, also Colombia star Luis Díaz, Konrad Laimer and Croatia defender Josip Stanisic will travel to Asia. The three latter will join the team after their longer World Cup break. Also on board are the Soll-Weg-professionals João Palhinha and Sacha Boey.

The travel plan of the record champions provides that the Bayern will be in the air until the planned landing on Sunday at 12.35 Uhr local time (5.35 Uhr German time). Then the stars will be greeted at 5.35 Uhr (12.35 Uhr local time) with a „Anneyong, FC Bayern!“ - that's South Korean and means „Servus, FC Bayern“. After the days on Jeju and the hard test against the local Jeju SK (partner of Bayern's joint venture „Red & Gold“ with the Los Angeles FC) on August 4th, it will go on to Hong Kong. There, the test against Europa League winner Aston Villa will take place on August 7th, before it continues.
