Bayern Munich officially signed 18-year-old Senegalese midfielder Bara Sapoko Ndiaye in the 2026 summer transfer window. The player signed a contract until June 30, 2031. The young talent had been on loan at Bayern since January 2026 and impressed with four Bundesliga appearances in the 2025/26 season. He made his Bundesliga debut in the 29th matchday against St. Pauli. Ndiaye was also called up to the Senegalese World Cup squad in 2026. 'Today is a big day for me and my family. I want to learn every day from the great players here at Bayern and help the team,' said the player. Bayern's sporting director Christoph Freund praised Ndiaye's quick adaptation: 'Bara is a great footballer who quickly found his place in a completely new environment at Bayern and gained acceptance from the team.'
