Bayern Munich loses a goalkeeper talent: Max Schmitt transfers to SSV Jahn Regensburg. The 20-year-old signed a contract until June 30, 2028.

Max Schmitt was transferred from the TSV Milbertshofen youth team to the Bayern campus nine years ago and went through all the junior teams. He played 25 games for the amateurs.

The loss of Max Schmitt could affect the goalkeeper situation at Bayern Munich. Currently, M. Cardozo, A. Davies, S. Gnabry, C. Kiala, and W. Mike are injured.

The goalkeeper trio for the upcoming third league season is now complete at SSV Jahn Regensburg. Last week, HSV loanee Hannes Herrmann joined SSV Jahn and joined Alexander Weidinger.
