Michael Olise has presented himself as a filmmaker and designer. The Bayern Munich attacker released a short film documenting the creation of his custom outfit for this year's Ballon d'Or gala.

The film, titled „A Celebration of Process“ and just under 100 seconds long, was shot on analogue 16mm film. It shows the entire process from initial sketches and fabric selection to the final cutting and sewing. The credits explicitly state „A film by Michael Olise“, with „Olise Internal“ listed as producer. The 24-year-old is showing a creative side that extends far beyond the football pitch.

Collaboration with London label

For the realisation of the bespoke suit, Olise collaborated with the London fashion label YAKU. The handcrafted tailoring was handled by Charlie Brown and Zac McGarry. The diagonal button rows on the black jacket were particularly striking, forming the player's initials with a military-inspired design. The custom-made jewellery elements came from the label The Ouze. The wide-cut trousers blended classic tailoring with modern streetwear elements.

„It was a project very close to my heart,“ Olise said in a rare comment on his creative work. The Frenchman, who finished ninth in the Ballon d'Or voting at the gala, had already released a first artistic short film titled „MO 001“ in August. This highlights his continued interest in film projects.

On the pitch, Olise is looking back on a strong season with Bayern. In the Bundesliga, the record champions currently have 24 points and sit second in the standings. Olise himself, with his technical skills and assists, is a key part of manager Vincent Kompany's attack. Bayern's next competitive match is a Bundesliga home game against VfL Wolfsburg on Saturday.
