Several Bayern Munich professionals have publicly criticized their ratings in the new football simulator FC 27. According to a report by the German sports magazine Kicker, defender Jonathan Tah and winger Serge Gnabry in particular expressed dissatisfaction with their attributes, despite FCB's excellent overall standing.

German international Jonathan Tah is sharply critical of his pace rating. In FC 27, his speed was set at 62 points, one point less than in the predecessor FC 26. The 30-year-old considers this assessment completely unrealistic. "Ich bin schneller als du" ("I am faster than you"), Tah said directly to his teammate Serge Gnabry, demanding that EA SPORTS developers adjust his values. Gnabry's pace rating is 77 points, which Tah sees as proof of the injustice.

Serge Gnabry took his teammate's criticism with humor. He indirectly agreed with Tah that other players might also be undervalued. Specifically, he advocated for a higher pace rating for Alphonso Davies. The Canadian left-back received an overall rating of 84 in FC 27. Gnabry suggested Davies deserves a pace of 85. With a wink, he added: "Sonst wäre ich auch aufgestanden und gegangen" ("Otherwise I would have gotten up and left too").

Despite the objections of individual players, FC Bayern's dominance in the FC 27 ratings is unmistakable. In addition to the seven top-10 placements in the Bundesliga rankings, the club also boasts the player with the most valuable shot in Ultimate Team.
