Bayern must slow down Ismael Saibari to let him complete his Reha. The Moroccan striker is burning to join the Asian tour. Sport Director Max Eberl said last Wednesday at the training camp at Tegernsee: „Ismael is burning and would love to join the Asian tour already. He should, however, complete the Reha in peace so that he is available after the tour. The plan is to complete the last phase of preparation with him.“

Saibari makes Reha-Training with Musiala and Davies

On Saturday, the new striker started his Reha-Training on the training ground in Munich-Giesing. Two days later, a Reha-unit with two new team-mates was on the program: with Alphonso Davies (25/Fitness-Aufbau after Bündelriss in the left, posterior thigh) and Jamal Musiala (23/Metallplatte in the left foot removed one year after the Wadenbeinbruch with Sprunggelenks-Verletzungen). The star-trio trained in the Munich sun for an hour with Reha-Coach Simon Martinello (41). The focus was on Passtraining: short passes, also with small Aufsteller-Prallwänden and in a triangle. To this, running was done – short sprints with stopping, but also fast runs on a longer distance and jogging elements. The mood among Saibari, Musiala and Davies was really good.

Also Karl and Gnabry train in Munich

In addition to the three forwards with training setbacks, there are also two DFB stars from the attack in the Reha: Lennart Karl (18/Muskelbündelriss in the left thigh) and Serge Gnabry (31/Adduktoren-Ausriss in the right thigh). The duo trained on Monday morning with Reha-Chef Benjamin Sommer (44) at the Säbener Straße – also on the large construction site (Ausbau Profi-Trakt, Neubau von Trainingsplätzen). Karl will be integrated into the team training after the Asian tour, while Gnabry will take a bit longer.

Current situation

Currently, Lennart Karl and Serge Gnabry are injured. The German record champion Bayern Munich is preparing for the new season. The new striker Ismael Saibari is making Reha-Training with Alphonso Davies and Jamal Musiala in Munich.
