Bayern Munich dropped points again in the Bundesliga, drawing 2-2 at FC Augsburg after having four goals disallowed for offside. Despite dominating with 64% possession and 30 shots, the Bavarians could not turn their superiority into a victory.

The script went wrong after just eight seconds. A mistake by Manuel Neuer following a pass from Alphonso Davies led to an early opener from Robin Fellhauer for the hosts. Bayern pressed relentlessly afterwards, but the assistant referees chalked off several apparent goals in the first half. Ismael Saibari finally scored a deserved equaliser in the 55th minute following an assist from Harry Kane.

Yet just nine minutes later, Rodrigo Ribeiro turned the game around again after being set up by Hennes Behrens. Nathaniel Brown scored the second equaliser in the 80th minute, with Kane providing another assist. A late winner from Anton Kade for Augsburg did not materialise. For Bayern, it was already a second consecutive draw, following the 3-3 at Viking in the Europa League last Thursday. Their recent form over the last five competitive matches now reads just one win, two draws and two defeats.

Debutant Bah impresses

In a defence plagued by injuries, Juma Bah made his starting debut. The 20-year-old stepped into the back three for the injured Noahkai Banks and impressed with a 100% pass completion rate. His coach Manuel Baum later praised his team's fighting spirit. "What distinguished us mega was that we threw everything into the duels and always helped each other," said the 49-year-old. Asked about the many offside decisions against Bayern, he remarked dryly: "You need that certain bit of luck there."

Bayern must now quickly clear their heads for the next important match. They host direct rivals RB Leipzig at the Allianz Arena this coming Saturday. A look at the current standings shows the urgency to break the streak. The full planning for the upcoming tasks can be found in the squad. The next kick-off against Leipzig is scheduled for 15:30.
