Bayern Munich unveiled its new away kit for the 2026/27 season on Monday. The simple white jersey with a polo collar and blue accents harks back to the legendary 90s and early 2000s. The design will debut on July 25 in a friendly against SV Wehen Wiesbaden. Lennart Karl and Serge Gnabry are currently sidelined.

What’s new about the design?

The kit is entirely white with blue Adidas logos and sponsor prints. Red-white-blue stripes adorn the sleeves, collar, and shoulders. The historic club crest on the chest emphasizes tradition. Children’s kits cost €75, while adult versions are €100.

Why is the design special?

The retro style pays homage to the glory days of the 90s and 2000s. Fans have responded far more positively to this classic look than to recent experimental designs. The active fanbase in the Südkurve had long advocated for traditional red-and-white home kits.

When will the kit debut?

Vincent Kompany’s side will wear the new away jersey for the first time on July 25 in the friendly against Wiesbaden. The home kit, inspired by the 2012/13 treble-winning season, was revealed in May.
