Bayern Munich is in negotiations with Lazio regarding the transfer of young midfielder Jonathan Asp Jensen. The 20-year-old Danish player has been with Bayern since 2022 and has impressed this season while on loan at Grasshoppers in Switzerland. With nine goals and six assists in 40 appearances, he has caught Lazio's interest, who see him as a fitting player for their project. According to Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla, the Biancocelesti are making progress and are closing in on an agreement with Bayern Munich for Asp Jensen. Lazio is expected to pay a transfer fee between €3.5 and €4 million. However, the Bundesliga champions are seeking a comprehensive sell-on fee. Pedulla explains that Lazio is open to adding a sell-on clause, but it must be lower than 50%. The club had a similar arrangement when they purchased Mario Gila from Real Madrid, which has turned out to be disadvantageous. The report suggests that Lazio is not planning to go beyond a 30% sell-on fee in their negotiations. It remains to be seen if the two clubs can reach an agreement for Asp Jensen's transfer in the coming days.
