Bayern Munich has launched an exciting initiative with the FC Bayern World Squad, which is now heading to South Korea. This sixth edition of the unique international youth project offers talented players from around the world the chance to develop in a professional environment. The club, known for its successes in the Bundesliga, focuses on nurturing young talent to help them achieve their dream of becoming professional footballers. Rouven Kasper, the club's Marketing and Sales Executive, expressed pride in the establishment of the World Squad as an international scouting platform. In partnership with Audi, Bayern Munich opens doors for talents who might otherwise not have opportunities. For the new season, 23 players from 16 nations have been selected, including returnees from the last edition, highlighting the sustainable nature of the project. Scouting began in January 2026 and was conducted in close coordination with partner clubs and scouts.
