According to recent reports by L'Equipe, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) forward Bradley Barcola is ready to agree to a move to Liverpool next season. This comes after PSG made an offer that was rejected; as of now, Barcola has already held personal discussions with new coach Andoni Iraola at Liverpool.
Barcola's decision primarily stems from his current playing status in Paris. He often starts games but frequently gets relegated to substitutes during crucial matches like the Champions League semi-finals against Bayern Munich and the final versus Arsenal. This suggests that he is seeking a place where he can have more consistent game time.
Alongside Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea are also mentioned as clubs interested in Barcola’s services. Interestingly, despite Bayern Munich's interest in him, L'Equipe pointed out that Barcola is less likely to leave PSG this summer due to contractual considerations. However, Bayern is keeping a close eye on the situation.
If Barcola does decide to depart from PSG next season, it is estimated that the asking price could be around €150 million. This steep cost might make Liverpool reconsider his potential addition for another year before fully committing post-2027, when his contract will expire by default.
