FC Bayern Munich has high hopes for the 18-year-old Senegalese Bara Sapoko Ndiaye, who impressed during his loan spell. Head coach Vincent Kompany praises the young talent, who is expected to provide valuable depth in midfield. Sport Bild reports that Kompany has long been a big admirer of Ndiaye. During his loan spell in the last Rückrunde, Ndiaye impressed with his pace, capturing the attention of the coach. All club officials are now also pleased with Ndiaye and are enthusiastic about his footballing talent. He has big chances of regular game time as an alternative in midfield this season.

Ndiaye should add a different dimension to the midfield and be an excellent developmental complement to Joshua Kimmich, Aleksandar Pavlović, and Tom Bischof. This is a shrewd signing by Bayern, with the groundwork laid beforehand via the club’s Red&Gold partnerships, which identified and brought Ndiaye to Munich.

In Bayern Munich’s 4-2 friendly win over Heidenheim, Ndiaye completed 94% of his passes, had a key pass, and only lost possession 10 times on 120 touches across 90 minutes. Defensively, Nidaye struggled with his duels as he won only 2 of 7, but did have 3 interceptions, and 5 ball recoveries.

All-in-all, it was a good preseason for Ndiaye.
