Bayern Munich will not hold any team training sessions during the upcoming two-week international break. Instead, players will follow individual programmes, as confirmed from the club's Säbener Straße training ground.
The plan means international players will depart for their national teams. Those remaining in Munich will complete tailored sessions focused on personal fitness and recovery. "Two weeks with no team training! That's Bayern's plan for the XXL international break," said a reporter on site.
The move comes after a mixed start to the season, with two wins, one draw and two defeats in the last five competitive matches. The most recent game was a 7-0 thrashing of Union Berlin on 18 September. Michael Olise scored a hat-trick in that match and leads the team's scoring charts with four goals.
The squad will only reconvene for collective training in preparation for the next fixture. That is the away match against FC Augsburg on 10 October. The current injury list featuring Konrad Laimer and the full squad overview are available online. Fans can check the precise schedule for the run-in on our fixtures page.
