Bayern Munich demolished Union Berlin 7-0 on the eve of Oktoberfest in a spectacular goal festival at the Allianz Arena. The emphatic victory provided the perfect mood booster ahead of the Munich folk festival weekend.

Jamal Musiala opened the scoring in the 18th minute, assisted by Alphonso Davies. Harry Kane doubled the lead from the penalty spot in the 39th minute before Michael Olise made it three just before half-time. Kane added his second after the break, and substitute Ismael Saibari netted his first Bundesliga goal for Bayern for the fifth. Olise completed his hat-trick with goals in the 73rd and 76th minutes, sealing a heavy defeat for the visitors.

The clear win ends a patchy run of form that had seen the team record two wins, a draw, and two losses in their last five competitive matches. The performance was cohesive and clinical in front of goal. Attention now turns to the next fixture away at FC Augsburg on October 10th.
