Bayern Munich has confirmed its partnership with Google, but the tech giant remains in the second sponsorship tier. The company pays over 10 million euros annually for its partnership, representing a significant commercial relationship for the club. According to Bild, Google is currently in the Platinum Sponsor tier, below Bayern Munich’s four primary partners such as Telekom, Adidas, Allianz, and Audi. Other Platinum Partners include Betano, Bitpanda, Coca-Cola, and SAP. The partnership expands through Google’s official role as Consumer AI Partner with Gemini and Google Pixel becoming the official smartphone partner for both men’s and women’s teams. Bayern Munich players are still allowed to use iPhones or other devices despite the Google Pixel partnership. Although Google becomes more visible, the club has not yet plans to elevate the tech giant to one of its main commercial partners.
