Bayern Munich legend Lúcio spent the first weekend of Oktoberfest with his pregnant wife Marilia Forgiarini at the Theresienwiese. The former defender posted sweet photos from their visit to the Paulaner tent, where he attended the FC Bayern Legends Wiesn event.
"It is always a great joy to enjoy Oktoberfest with friends and loved ones. Prosit!" the 48-year-old wrote on social media. At the Wiesn, he met former teammates like ex-strikers Roy Makaay (51) and Giovane Elber (54). The appearance marks another step in Lúcio's recovery from severe burns he sustained in a table explosion accident in May 2025.
Personal Joy After Difficult Times
Lúcio, whose full name is Lucimar da Silva Ferreira, was hospitalized in a private clinic in Brasília after the accident with second-degree burns on 18 percent of his body. He married Marilia Forgiarini in December 2025, and the couple is now expecting their first child together. The Brazilian officially ended his playing career in 2020. For Bayern, he made over 200 appearances from 2004 to 2009, winning three Bundesliga titles before moving to Inter Milan. He earned 105 caps for the Brazilian national team.
While most current Bayern stars were away on international duty during the Wiesn visit, the club icon enjoyed the Munich tradition. The squad list under manager Vincent Kompany is returning from international commitments and preparing for their next match. Bayern's last five results read LWLDW, two wins, one draw, and two defeats. The next Bundesliga fixture is away at FC Augsburg on October 10.
Lúcio's visit to the Wiesn shows how closely he remains connected to the club after his career. His personal joy with his heavily pregnant wife and the reunions with old comrades highlight the special atmosphere of the Legends event. For the fans, the Brazilian remains an unforgettable figure with his 105 international caps and over 200 appearances in red. The squad list list is available in our team overview.
