Bayern Munich have secured a buy-back clause for Maurice Krattenmacher. The club can re-sign the 21-year-old winger from his current club SV Elversberg for a fee of €7.5 million.
Krattenmacher moved to the promoted Bundesliga side from Saarland for a €2 million transfer fee in the summer. His contract with Elversberg also contains a general release clause of €9 million for other clubs. The young attacker was initially loaned by Bayern to SSV Ulm and later to Hertha BSC in 2024 before making a permanent switch to Elversberg.
This season, Krattenmacher has already established himself as a key player. He has scored three goals in four Bundesliga appearances. His goal in a 1-2 defeat to Bayern on September 13th highlighted his potential. Bayern won that match and their recent form reads two wins, one draw and two losses from their last five games. Their next fixture is away to FC Augsburg on October 10th.
The clause gives Bayern a clear option to react to the talent's development. It reserves the club's right to bring the player back at a fixed price should he continue to prove himself in professional football.
