A familiar path
His brother Lennart left the Frankfurt youth academy in early 2022 and joined FC Bayern that summer. Armin Kraaz, vice-president of Eintracht Frankfurt, stated at the time that the club tried to keep Lennart but he was very focused on Bayern Munich. Vincent, who is from Frammersbach, is now set to take the same route via Aschaffenburg, where Lennart was discovered.
Vincent Karl is considered one of Germany's greatest talents in his age group and already has a large number of Instagram followers. An official statement from FC Bayern regarding a potential move is not yet available. Meanwhile, Bayern's first team is preparing for an away fixture, following a run of several matches without a win. Their next fixture is away to SC Freiburg on Sunday 25 October.
The recent results show a team that is strong in attack but has defensive issues. Recent authoritative results include a 6-1 win over RB Leipzig on Saturday 17 October, but also a 3-3 draw with Viking and a 2-2 draw with FC Augsburg. In attack, Michael Olise is currently the club's top scorer this season with five goals. With an eye on the standings and the next matchday, the integration of young talents is a long-term priority for the club. Vincent Karl's next step is the move to Aschaffenburg, before the journey may continue in Munich.
